Everyday I spoke to my sister, who is 67 years old and lives alone in Michigan practicing as a clinical psychologist for 40 years. This day was different. A weekend went by and no answer to my multiple calls. Monday came and still no answer. Tuesday came and I became more concerned when my sister’s phone went directly to voicemail. The alarm in my head went off and I called her workplace. Her co-workers had not seen her on Monday. This was unusual. I called the Birmingham, Michigan police. They promptly acted and discovered my sister on the floor nonverbal and only moving her limbs. She was diagnosed with an acute medical illness.
This story is a lesson learned that don’t let unanswered calls go ignored. Jocelyn is recovering and fighting to regain her health. She has been successful in making major strides. Thank you Jesus for healing my sister.
